Celebrating the Jose Gasparilla invasion, over 130 units, including 50 Krewes, floats, 14 marching bands, YMKG pirates and more will entertain crowds. Shiver me timbers! Argh you ready for Gasparilla 2024? The pirates have arrived in Tampa and are planning to invade the city in search of the key to the city. For those looking to join in on the plunder, the Jose Gasparilla ship will depart from the Port of Tampa Bay around noon. A fleet of hundreds of smaller vessels will follow closely behind. So the Krewe of Grace of Malley decided to bring Gasparilla to them. More than 30 Ladies of Grace held a surprise sneak attack on the kids of the Children’s Cancer Center in Tampa.
